Red Pigtails

As some of you know, I’m not a big fan of cold, snow or winter months. There was a reason I was born in July. I’m a summer girl. From October until at least March, I sit in a hump under a blanket. Usually I moan and groan about everything – the darkness, the holidays, the cold, and you should probably avoid talking to me altogether if it dares to snow!! Thankfully, it only snows here a couple times a year, and it usually melts within a day or two, so you’re relatively safe.
This year, I decided to buck up, shut up, and deal. Because really..there’s nothing I can do to change the weather, right? Why make myself and everyone around me miserable for months? So, I decided to embrace the whole idea of winter, and what better way than to paint winter scenes. Of course, I painted them Miz Katie style..with a touch of red and a slice of humor built in.
I’m going to be offering mugs, cards, posters, magnets, and tshirts in my Zazzle shop soon. For now, though, the original Red Pigtails is available in my Etsy shop.
can’t say that i blame you when the weather is that harsh, the wind blowing that much…miserable i say, like if ya’ just want to take a little stroll outside, whooooowhee! put on yer’ long underwear, the red ones, so we can find ya’, need be! hee hee hee hee, cackle cackle!! xo
