lawn ornaments & bizzy talk
the snow is gone, but i still have photos to post from last week. another lawn ornament from our neighbors’ yard.
we’re in the middle of more house renovations. this time, the kitchen. nothing real big..just sanding and refinishing the cabinets (so the kitchen will match the rest of the house – mahogany stain..OMGOSH it is sooo pretty), and putting in a tile floor.
when i say “we” i mean greg unscrews the doors from the hinges, and i do the rest, while he reads his book in the other room. hahaha!! sorry to out you, baby. your time will come when we get to the floor, don’t worry. besides, you know how i love to paint. :)
so, if i’m quiet over the next couple weeks, it’s because i’m busy elsewhere. i’ll probably have photos..if i get up the nerve to show my mess to the internet. haha we’ll see.
i also have a bunch of new paintings ready for sale. ack! not enough time in the day. i’ll get them online when i can. be back soon!
Looks like you got a bit of snow-nice pic! Oh, wow-that is a lot of work. Your hand must be better for you to be doing that. I bet it is going to look great. :)
yeah, i think i counted 22 cabinets and 14 drawers..something like that. i’ll have to count again to be sure. it’s going to be a slooow process..2 coats of stain on both sides of the doors and then polyurethane. loooong drying times..ho hum. can only do one coat a day. but, i’ll get it done..some day. :)
my wrist never hurt like yours does, momma..just swells at times, and looks like it’s going to pop. hasn’t stopped me from doing anything..yet, anyway.
