grandmother and woodsman – final shot
I turned the canvas toward the light this time. And, surprise!! The picture isn’t nearly as dark. Imagine that!! heh!
This will probably be the last progress shot of these two love birds. I think I’m going to wrap it up real soon, and offer it for sale in my Etsy shop. I need to fix her arms so they match more in thickness, and play with the skin tone a bit more. The right arm is too orange looking, but other than that, I think it’s done. Of course, I may change my mind tomorrow morning when I see it in the daylight. Or, I should say, snowy daylight. sigh. Yeah, it’s going to snow AGAIN, but I’m not going to talk about that. Ahem.
I didn’t crop this photo because Wanda Marie likes to see what’s going on in the background of my messy studio. You can click to enlarge it, Wanda. Go ahead. I’ll wait for you to have a good snoop. heehee
I’ll just hum a little tune while I wait. hmm..hummmm…hummmm…
I guess I could give you a tour instead. Let’s see..that’s my light box over to the right where I take my photos for Etsy, up high on the wall is the painting entitled “The Girls”, which I finally finished after working on it for like ten months or something. I still don’t like it, and I’m thinking of taking it down, and re-working it AGAIN. sigh. But, I won’t get into that now. Oh, and a painting by my artist friend Bobbi Studstill on the lower wall.
And, I’m afraid that concludes the tour, and this blog entry. I’m bone tired tonight, so I must go eat dinner and get myself to bed. Night all!
