Hope was started when I lived in West Virginia in 2005-2007. I had an office job, working as an administrative assistant. It took up all my time, and sucked away my soul. So, finishing this was a slow process.

But, it was my first attempt at painting faces, and i was pretty bad at it. I named it Hope because I hoped one day i'd be painting people on canvas instead of working a desk job. I think it's safe to say, I have come a long way since then.
