4×4 inches on canvas board
Oh! Hello! Is available in my Etsy shop.
I’ve been in a painting slump this week. I haven’t painted since last weekend! That’s kinda weird for me, but I’ve learned to just go with the flow. I’m coming up on my 4 year painting anniversary, so I’m used to the highs and lows now. I did a lot of busy work in my Etsy shop instead. Lots of photo taking, and listing. All stuff I fall back on when I’m not in the painting mood.

I’ve got a book calling my name later today, Cat’s Eye by Margret Atwood, so I’m gonna be sacked out on the couch. This is a re-read for me, since it was so good the first time around. I started reading it late last night, and read ’til I just couldn’t keep my eyes open a minute more.

I hope you all have a great Friday, and weekend. Happy PPF! I’m looking forward to visiting everyone today to see what you’ve been up to this week.
Be sure to check back in during the week next week. I’m going to do a blog post with photos of my homemade light box. Sharon asked if I would in the comments the other day. I just need to take photos..so sometime next week I’ll have it posted.
Oh goody goody! Thank you I will be watching.
I LOVE “Oh Hello” she’s got some great attitude going on!
So nice to hear about other people’s highs and lows – not nice that you have them, oh goodness, I think I have my foot in my mouth – it’s been one of those days…Love your Teacher Teacher- it really spoke to me today!

I really like your style. Do you know you inspired me to sketch a face with my hand up over one eye. I have never drawn a hand, and I pretty happy with how it came out. I posted it like last week. I felt it appropriate for what I was going through at the time, but I think you inspired me! so, thank you!!!
Lovely post and so good that you keep persevering even during the lows `namaste, Carol (A Creative Harbor) Happy PPF ^_^
I love that you have such a definite style. That’s something I’m still struggling with.

People tell me that I have a style a lot, but I don’t see it. I feel like I’m all of the place..from realistic to primitive. I can’t make up my mind which style I like to paint best, so I flip flop, depending on my mood. Maybe you have a style, and you don’t realize it?
That is a book I have re read as well… I also loved Year of the Flood and The Handmaid’s Tale, which are both by Atwood… they are all worth a day of couch slumping… enjoy the down time and then you will be back and painting with a vengeance before you know it…xx
I’ve read The Handmaid’s Tale, too. Both books were worth the time it took to read, yes! I like her style of writing very much.
Ahh, painting slumps…nature’s way of making you pay attention to the rest of your life.
I did indeed do just that. I had a relaxing weekend away from my studio. I so desperately needed a break!!
I really like these paintings. They make you think and art is suppose to do that.

Miz Katie — You inspire me and I would think all of us and you have a gift, so glad you know it; many people do not. Blessings Terri
I do like Oh Hello, reminds me of a former teacher of mine back in the 50s. Long ago memories. Blessings, Janet PPF
